I make photographs for the way a room feels when the light is just turning — quiet, close, and a little golden. People, places, the pause between one thought and the next.

I work simply. Natural light when I can have it. Color that stays honest. Black and white when the shape of a face or a street is the whole story. I care less about spectacle than about a picture you can sit with.
